Join planetary scientist Bryce Bolin for a behind-the-scenes look at how astronomers use the NASA Infrared Telescope Facility (IRTF) on Maunakea to study asteroids in the inner Main Belt.

Participants will shadow an active observing session and learn how infrared observations reveal the physical properties, compositions, and histories of small bodies that formed during the early stages of Solar System evolution.
